Police have issued an urgent appeal for a missing teenager last seen near a river in Banbridge.
Anthony Hughes, 16, was last spotted on the town’s River Walk with friends around midnight.
He has not been in contact with his friends or family since that time and they are becoming concerned about this as this wouldn’t be normal behaviour for Anthony.
A police spokesperson said: “Were you with him [last night]? Do you know where he is or where he was? Do you know where he was going?
“No one is any trouble, we just want to make sure everyone is ok.
“If you’ve any information with regard to this, either call 101 and quote reference: 116, or send a message to this page and I’ll do my best to keep an eye on it.
“As always, your help is appreciated.”
