Man charged with breach of sexual harm order after suspicious activity reports

A 68–year-old-man is due to appear in court next month following reports of suspicious behaviour in the Banbridge area on Sunday, May 21.

Police have charged the man with breach of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

He is set to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 14.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

A police spokesperson said: “We would like to thank those members of the public who reported this suspicious behaviour to police.”
