Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch have seized an estimated £120,000 worth of herbal cannabis in Co Down as part of an investigation into the supply of illegal drugs.
The drugs were found in a car which was stopped on the A1 at Dromore earlier today.
A 61-year-old man was arrested and is being questioned at Lurgan PSNI Station.
“A number of searches have also been carried out in the Newry, Warrenpoint and Lisburn areas.
Detective Inspector Alan Pyper said: “We are delighted to have taken these illegal drugs out of circulation.
“We will continue to work with communities to act on any information provided and remove this harm from our streets.”
