Incident at Orange Hall outside Dromore ‘being treated as hate crime’

Police received the report of criminal damage which took place on Monday, August 7 at the property on the Ballygowan Road.

An incident at an Orange Hall outside Dromore, where two windows were damaged at the property, is being treated as a hate crime by the police.

Police received the report of criminal damage which took place on Monday, August 7 at the property on the Ballygowan Road.

Police believe that the damage occurred sometime between 11am and 6pm on that date and have said they are treating the incident as a hate crime.

Speaking yesterday (Wednesday), a PSNI spokesperson said: “Anyone with any information about this incident or who may be able to help with the investigation, is asked to call officers in Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1518 07/08/23, or submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form.

“You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online.”
