Police in Banbridge are appealing for information following the theft of a handbag from business premises.
Sometime between 5.15pm and 5.45pm a black patent handbag was taken from a workbench at bakery premises on Newry Street.
The bag contained a sum of cash and documentation.
The town would have been busy at this time and police would like to hear from anyone who noticed suspicious activity on the street between Richmond Bakery and Super Valu or anyone who noticed someone leaving the rear of the bakery into Super Valu car park.
