A Chinese takeaway has been ordered to stop serving food by a local court.
A district judge acted after listening to evidence presented by food hygiene inspectors by granting the emergency notice.
It applies to the Red Dragon premises at Bridge Street in Banbridge.
The court heard evidence of rodents on the premises, and food preparation surfaces covered in grease.
No cleaning was evident either, according to an environmental health officer attached to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
The court imposed an immediate ban on the Chinese takeaway from serving and selling food to the public.
