Toddler rushed to hospital following hit and run collision

A toddler was rushed to hospital following a hit and run collision yesterday afternoon.

Police are appealing for information in relation to a hit and run road traffic collision at Corbet Lake, Banbridge on Sunday.

A blue Volkswagen type car was in collision with a toddler before driving off from the area around 4.20pm.

The boy’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening and he is recovering well in hospital.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information that may assist their investigation. They can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 841 130316.
