The A1 has been closed southbound following a road collision this evening.
The accident happened around 8pm this evening.
Emergency service cars are currently dealing with the situation close to the Drumneath Road, near Banbridge – just after the Halfway House.
A police spokesperson said: “A RTC is blocking both lanes and whilst thankfully there are no serious injuries, the road may be closed for a couple of hours.”
There are no further details at this stage.
