The A1 was closed following a serious collision in the early hours of this morning.
The A1 Northbound lane has been closed between Graceystown Road and Kilmacrew Road, Banbridge.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to take extra care if travelling in the area.
A police spokesperson said: “The A1 dual carriageway is closed to northbound traffic following a serious road traffic collision.
“Motorists are being diverted at Dromore Road, Banbridge.”
The road remains closed this morning, however, police have provided no further details at this stage.
