Armed men in boiler suits attack man (52) in south Armagh

Three men dressed in boiler suits and brandishing a gun attacked a man at a farm in south Armagh.

And detectives in Newry are appealing for information following the assault, which happened at round 8.30am last Tuesday, January 26.

The culprits assaulted the 52-year-old man on farmland at Fort Road, Belleeks.

One of the males had a firearm in his possession and all three were wearing boiler suits. policetape

The victim sustained facial injuries which required medical treatment.

Police would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. They can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 200 260116.
