A fundraising support group covering Armagh and Benburb are desperately seeking the return of a world globe that was sold “in error”.
Armagh & Benburb Mary’s Meals Support Group launched an appeal for the return of the globe via social media describing the item as a “family treasure”.
The group fundraise to support Mary’s Meals, a charity serving a nutritious daily meal to some of the world’s poorest children to attract them into the classroom where they can gain an education and a brighter future.
The support group explained: “In recent weeks a world globe was sold in error to a customer.
“The globe is a family treasure and was in our centre as a reminder of all the countries where Mary’s Meals feeds starving children.”
They say they would be “most grateful” to the customer who purchased it if they would kindly return the item to Benburb Priory for a full refund.
