Three charities have each received their handsome share of proceeds raised by Armagh’s champion fundraiser, Willie Nugent.
The month before Christmas Willie released the seventh edition of his now annual Christmas charity book.
Such was the success of this year’s offering, entitled ‘Santa, Maisy and a wee kitten called Daisy’, that it sold off the shelves across several local shops and businesses.
But – as always – Willie was only too happy to complete a few stock-ups along the way.
In the weeks before Christmas his supplies were fully depleted… officially declaring the story as a sell-out!

Christmas now done and dusted, Willie – and his ever faithful sidekick and front cover star, Maisy – have finished their count.
And, they are once again delighted to announce a whopping £3,000 in sales have been added to their fundraising pot.
While the book was priced at just £5 each, Willie said many people “give so much more”, with some even handing over £20 per book to give the charities that extra little boost.
All proceeds of his latest Christmas tale have now been divided equally between The Friends of the Cancer Centre, Belfast City Hospital; Little Heroes, Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and Guide Dogs for the Blind… with each charity receiving a total of £1,000.
Willie would once again like to thank the generous Armagh community for their endless support.
