Vandals steal 20 galvanised posts from Co Armagh charity association

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of the theft of bollards from a premises on the Ballydogherty Road, Loughgilly in the Armagh area.

Constable Anderson said : “It was reported that between Wednesday 22nd March and 9am on Wednesday 29th March, a number of removable bollards were stolen from the car park of a premises on the Ballydogherty Road, Armagh.

The bollards were described as being silver galvanised steel bollards with red reflector tape attached to them.

The Ballygorman School House Association posted on Facebook: “Over the weekend it has been brought to our attention that all of our 3ft long galvanised posts with red reflectors were stolen from Ballygorman School House car park, approximately 20 in total!

“Now that we have seen footage of the four people involved, the car and the registration number could YOU please return the posts to the hall ASAP and no further action will be taken. If not all will be passed onto police!”

Ballygorman School House Association was formed following that meeting in 2008 by members of the local community in the Ballygorman area. The organisation is a non-profit making limited company with charitable status.
