Three people escape injury after petrol bomb thrown through window in Armagh

Three people have managed to escape serious injury after a petrol bomb was thrown through the window of a property in Armagh during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).

Detectives investigating the incident at Callan Bridge Park are appealing for witnesses and information.

Police received a report at approximately 4.50am that a petrol bomb had been thrown through the front living room window of the property.

Three people, a woman and two men, who were in the house at the time were uninjured.

Detective Constable Cole said: “Thankfully, none of the occupants were injured, however, this reckless attack could have had serious consequences.

“We are treating this attack as arson with intent to endanger life and I would appeal to anyone who has information about this attack to please get in touch with us. You can contact our detectives on the non emergency number 101, and quote reference number 238 of 24/10/20.”
