Three houses have been burgled and ransacked in an Armagh housing development at the weekend.
And police are appealing for information and witnesses in relation to the raid in the Greenpark Manor area.
Inspector Browne said: “Shortly before 8.15pm on Saturday, March 23, it was reported that entry was forced to a house, and it was ransacked. It is not believed at this stage that anything was taken.
“It was reported that two men wearing dark coloured clothing were seen in a dark coloured vehicle in the area.
“A second report was also received that sometime between 8.30am on Friday 22nd March, and 2.30pm on Sunday 24th, entry was gained to a second house, and the property ransacked.
“Enquiries remain ongoing to establish whether anything has been taken.
“It was further reported yesterday, Sunday, March 24, that entry had been forced to a third property in the area, and drawers pulled out throughout the house. We are also still working to establish if anything was taken during this incident.”
Inspector Browne continued: “Our enquiries into these incidents, which we believe at this stage may be linked, are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who may have any information which might assist us, to get in touch.
