A six-year-old Co. Armagh boy has paid tribute to his mum – a keyworker – and others just like her with a beautiful garden mural.
Little Jamie, a pupil of St. Peter’s Primary School in Collegelands, is immensely proud of his mum Seaneen who continues to go to work most days.
With that, he wanted to do something to celebrate his mum, so out came the paints at his home on Saturday, where he created a rainbow mural for the NHS and key workers.
Mum Seaneen Grew, speaking to Armagh I, said she was “insanely proud” of her “amazing son”.
Jamie, due to start Primary 3 in September, wanted to be on the six o’clock news.
Well, we can go one better and have you on Armagh I news at 6pm.
“My son tells me every day how proud he is of me that I go out into the community and feed them,” added Seaneen.
“He wanted his painting to go on the 6 O’Clock news, so if you posting his painting will make his weekend.”
We just want to thank little Jamie for his efforts; great work. Hopefully now, you’ll be famous.
