‘Run rabbit, run!’: Easter Bunny teams up with Armagh coach for Mall fun-run and egg hunt

"This is a great way to get out in the morning and socialise with others."

The Easter Bunny is in town and he’s been building up his stamina at an Armagh gym ahead of a huge Easter egg drop-off in the city!

The word on the street is that the Easter Bunny has been spending the last few days at Bubba’s Project Gym – where he’s been getting some one-to-one coaching to help him get through his busiest time of year.

Bubba – being Bubba – couldn’t just let the special guest hop off without wrangling him into a huge community project.

So together, they have teamed up to put on a special Easter Sunday fun run.

The completely free event on April 20 will kick off on the Mall at 9am sharp.

Participants will then enjoy a 40 minute run or walk around the historic city-centre green and it’s open to all levels of fitness – with prams and buggies welcome.

After the exercise is out of the way, an Easter egg hunt will commence at 9.45am – and their very special guest might just have some treats for the little ones.

Said Bubba: “This is a great way to get out in the morning and socialise with others.

“All new faces are welcome to join us.”

The event is open to anyone who wishes to attend. Bubba kindly asks that interested parties confirm their attendance in advance by private message on Facebook at Bubba’s Project Gym or via email to support@bubbasprojectgym.co.uk.

Explained Bubba: “We want to make sure we have enough eggs so the Easter Bunny doesn’t get in trouble!”
