Police investigating the hit and run in Armagh have tonight issued a direct appeal to the driver of a white coloured Saab car to get in touch.
A teenage girl remains in a critical condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital after being struck on the Monaghan Road at around 12.25pm today.
She had rushed to hospital in an ambulance – not airlifted as previously reported – and the road remains closed.
Detective Inspector Brian Foster tonight appealed for help.
He asked the driver of a white Saab or any other witnesses to contact the PSNI in Armagh on the non-emergency number 101.
