Police arrest 31-year-old man after Killuney Drive incident

A man has been arrested following this afternoon’s incident at Killuney Drive.

Police have confirmed tonight (Sunday), that a 30-year-old was stabbed.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment.

No details in relation to his injuries have been given at this stage.

As Armagh I reported, he had been taken to hospital earlier this afternoon and the area cordoned off.

The incident happened at around 3.45pm.

Tonight, police have confirmed that a 31-year-old man has been arrested following the incident.

Inspector Nigel Henry, of the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime Branch, has appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact detectives at Ardmore on the non-emergency number 101.
