Police appeal for information after theft from building site

Items were stolen earlier this week

A number steel beams were among the items stolen from a building site earlier this week.

Police are investigating the report of a burglary at a building site on the Drumflugh Road in Benburb.

This burglary is believed to have occurred sometime on Monday, August 21. 

The following items were stolen in this incident:

8 pieces of steel (4.1m-4.8m) with unique numbers 16, 27, 40, 41, 45, 46, 52 and 58;

50 sewer fittings

60 M20 x 50 bolts

Constable Wilson would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in this area to contact police at Dungannon on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1147 22/08/17.

Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
