Palace Stables restaurant to re-open with new owners after six vacant years

Palace Stables restaurant in Armagh

Six years after its doors were closed for the final time, the restaurant at the Palace Stables in Armagh, is set to re-open!

The Moody Boar, as it was last known, closed in May 2018 and it has lay vacant ever since.

But now it has a new owner!

Daniel Gallagher – who also owns Dante’s pizza restaurant in Upper English Street – will be opening up a second eatery in the city much to the delight of many who have called for the re-opening of the palace demesne site.

Daniel and his wife Carina have this week been celebrating with the keys to their new establishment.

The opening is a still a few months off yet and it will not mean an end to Dante’s in the city centre as it will remain where it is.

The culinary offering at the Palace will be something completely different – what, only time will tell.

It will be another welcome addition to the city and we wish Daniel and Carina best of luck in their new venture!
