Niamh Louise Foundation host Strictly Musical event at Armagh City Hotel

A Dungannon-based charity providing early intervention crisis support to individuals dealing with worrying thoughts, thoughts of suicide and/or self-harm are set to host their “biggest fundraising event ever” at Armagh City Hotel.

A Strictly Musical event will be held in the popular Armagh city venue on April 26, 2025 with doors opening at 6.30pm.

The event has been designed to help raise vital funds for Niamh Louise Foundation – which alongside their crisis intervention work also support families who have been bereaved by suicide.

Earlier this month it was announced that the charity – now in its 19th year had been rejected for lifeline funding and, as a result, this fundraising evening will prove crucial in helping to ensure their services can continue for another year.

As their biggest effort to date, they aim to generate between £40,000 to £50,000 for the charity through ticket sales, donations and sponsorship.

The evening will be compered by Portadown Estate Agent, Owen Matchett and will feature ten dancing couples who have all utilised the Foundation’s support or advocated for their services.

The organising committee at Niamh Louise Foundation are promising an “unforgettable night filled with music, captivating performances, dazzling costumes, fun and support”.

A spokesperson for Niamh Louise Foundation said: “Whether you’re a fan of music and dance, a supporter of the foundation, or simply looking for a great night out Strictly Musical is the perfect event for you.

“Gather your friends and family and come support a cause that makes a real difference.”

Tickets start from £16.69 plus booking fee and can be purchased here.
