Newry Road Armagh apartment plans

A new apartments development would be on the way to Newry Road in Armagh.

The development would consist of four apartments and would involve the demolition of an existing property and garage.

An application seeking planning approval has now been submitted to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for consideration.

The site in question is number 64 Newry Road, on the opposite side from the Co Armagh Golf Club, on the stretch between the turn-off for Folly Lane and the entry to Greenfield Manse.

The intention is to demolish the existing property and garage and construct a two-storey development.

It would have two apartments on ground and first floor, with each consisting of a single bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living/dining area.

It would be set back from the main road with four parking spaces available to residents.

The application also includes associated site works as well as tree and shrub planting.

The proposals are due to be publicly advertised next week.
