Man taken to hospital following three-vehicle collision outside Armagh

A man has been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Armagh this morning (Friday).

Emergency services responded to the report of a collision on the Moy Road – close to the Drumcairn Road junction – at approximately 7am.

It is understood the collision involved a lorry, with one car overturned in a field nearby.

Police confirmed that one man was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

A police spokesperson said: “Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have dash-cam footage that could assist with enquiries, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 259 of 28/04/23.”

A spokesperson for the NI Ambulance Service said: “NIAS despatched one Emergency Ambulance to the incident at 7.05am.

“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance.”
