A man has been charged after a teenager was stabbed in the face in Armagh.
Detectives investigating the incident at Lower English Street on Saturday night have charged a 19-year-old man with a number of offences.
These include grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
It had previously been reported that a 17-year-old was stabbed several times in the face and was due to undergo surgery.
The man arrested will appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday).
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
