A man was arrested following a police pursuit which began in Armagh city and ended in Milford on Friday morning.
Shortly after 12.50am, it was reported that a man and a woman were walking along the Irish Street area when they entered a black Volkswagen Passat car in a hurry upon seeing a passing police patrol.
Police attempted a pre-emptive stop, however, the vehicle mounted the kerb and drove along the Friary Road and headed towards the Killylea Road.
The car then stopped at the Ballyrath Road area and the male driver made off on foot before being detained by officers. The 30-year-old male had been unlawfully at large since last month.
The male was arrested on suspicion of various motoring offences including dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified, as well as possession of a Class A and possession of a Class C controlled drug. The male was also arrested on suspicion of revocation of licence. He is currently in police custody at this time.
