A lorry has crashed through a wall on the main Armagh-Keady Road this evening (Wednesday).
The incident happened on the A29 Keady Road at the junction with the Ballyards Road – known locally as Girvan’s bridge – at around 9pm.
The lorry appears to have smashed through the wall and is balancing precariously over the adjoining field.
According to an eye-witness there does not appear to be any other vehicles involved.
Police had yet to arrive at the scene, however, the recovery operation is expected to see the road closed for a period overnight.
This is the latest in a long line of incidents which have plagued this particular corner over the years.
And only recently had the wall been rebuilt at this corner.
