The weather warning in place for Co Armagh has been upgraded from yellow to the more severe amber.
A warning had been in place from 6pm this evening (Tuesday), however, with Storm Eleanor approaching, the Met Office has opted to increase its alert.
The yellow warning remains in place across Northern Ireland, however, the Met Office forecasters says there will be a severe gale risk, this “mainly across the south, especially Armagh and Down”.
