A large-scale emergency response led to the arrest of a man in Armagh during the the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Police this evening confirmed the arrest of a 37-year-old man on suspicion of common assault and criminal damage in the Callan Street area of the city.
The man was interviewed and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A number of ambulance crews attended the scene, which saw dozens of people gather in the street around 1.30am.
There are no further details at this stage.
