Killymaddy Rural Development Group, which purchased the former Drumsallen Primary School in October 2025, will host a fund raising Big breakfast in the building on Saturday, January 31 from 8am to 12noon.
There will be a scrumptious breakfast where the tastes of children will also be catered for.
The members of Killymaddy Rural Development, all of whom had a close connection to the school, have a vision to develop the building for the use of the local community, providing much needed rural services.
Drumsallen Primary School was at the heart of the community for almost a century, the redevelopment of the building will give it a new lease of life and once again put it at the heart of the local area.
The Big Breakfast promises to be a very enjoyable event to which everyone will be warmly welcomed as it will be the first opportunity to visit the building since the school closed its doors.
The redevelopment costs will be significant and so the Big Breakfast will also be a fund-raising event where all donations will be greatly appreciated and used for that purpose.
