Police are probing after shots were fired from a car in Armagh city last night (Thursday).
Detectives are investigating a report of shots being fired in the Callan Bridge Road area the city shortly before 9pm.
Superintendent Wendy Middleton said: “We received a report around 8.45pm that a red Seat Leon car was being driven erratically in the area and a number of shots were believed to have been fired from this vehicle.
“The red Seat Leon is believed to have been travelling from the Moy area into Armagh city centre.
“Detectives are following a number of lines of enquiry and we would like to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage or witnessed this car being driven in the area between Moy and Armagh city between 8pm – 8.30pm last night.
“We would also urge anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity to get in touch with detectives on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1181 of 3/1/19.”
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
