Storm Chandra arrived in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday) and has caused chaos across Co Armagh.
Many roads across the county – and in particular Armagh City – are completely impassable due to high flooding with cars trapped and even submerged in multiple areas.
Road users are advised to avoid the Ballycrummy Road, Cathedral Road and Callan Bridge road which are currently experiencing high floods.
In the Callanbridge area this morning, videos circulating on social media show a Good Samaritan in a four-wheel drive assisting with the removal of a hapless hatchback after it succumbed to the high waters. The drive basically pushes the car out of the flood water while another man steers the car from the back seat.
Others on the Ballycrummy Road were not so lucky either (photos below).
Meanwhile, there is a bus stuck in water along the Fathom Line in Newry.
We will continue to update this article with information and photos as and when we get them.
