The relics of St Bernadette of Lourdes were welcomed to St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh, on Saturday, in a celebration of faith and devotion.
Archbishop Eamon Martin, accompanied by Bishop Michael Router and clergy from the Archdiocese of Armagh, celebrated Mass before a congregation of thousands, each drawn by a deep reverence for St Bernadette and her enduring devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes.
The cathedral was a place of prayer as long queues formed, with pilgrims waiting patiently to venerate the sacred relics.
Among the faithful were many who had journeyed to Lourdes in the past, sharing their personal devotion to the Blessed Virgin.
The sight of thousands was a powerful testament to the unwavering faith and love for Our Lady.
The event marked a spiritual highlight for the Archdiocese and all who attended.
