Parking in Armagh city centre will be free for Georgian Day 2019, which will take place on November 30.
The initiative will be extended to Lurgan, Portadown and Banbridge to coincide with their twilight markets and Christmas light switch-ons.
The Council is aiming to provide a comprehensive programme of events and activities right across the Borough.
Christmas Twilight Markets for Banbridge, Lurgan and Portadown were a huge success in 2018 and the planning for this year has already begun with local retailers in each of the three town centres to be notified on applications to trade.
Free parking was provided last year and earlier this week councillors unanimously agreed to extend the scheme to this year, despite the loss of approximately £6,000 in revenue.

Portadown Twilight Market 22nd November
Banbridge Twilight Market 29th November
Armagh Georgian Day 30th November
