Former St Catherine’s pupil passes away suddenly, aged 20

A former St Catherine’s College Armagh student passed away suddenly on Wednesday.

Josephine Malone, from Portadown, was just 20-years-old.

Tributes have been paid to a “beautiful” and “lovely” girl following her tragic passing.

One friend wrote: “A beautiful girl inside and out, rest easy.”

Another posted: “So sorry for the loss of Josephine, was a lovely girl, was a pleasure to have worked with a beautiful girl a voice of an angel.”

“RIP jo, such a wonderful soul taken away too soon.”

“Will have great memories beautiful and good person,” another said.

Others simply wrote: “Heartbreaking.”

Josephine, who lived on the Tandragee Road, was the beloved daughter of Clare and Terence and dearly loved sister of Sara, Gerald and Finnbar. R.I.P.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday from her home at 10.15am to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Drumcree for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her loving Mum, Dad, Sister, Brothers, Grandparents and family circle.
