A football fan’s afternoon at the Athletic Grounds has ended in heartbreak after returning to find her Jeep stolen.
Armagh beat Tyrone by a point in an enthralling preliminary round tie of the Ulster Senior Football Championship on Sunday afternoon.
After the game ended, however, and fans prepared to travel home, one attending was devastated to return to find their vehicle gone.
Geraldine Fitzmaurice O’Hagan made a hasty appeal on social media in the hope that the thieves had not got far.
She wrote: “Came out of the Athletic grounds following the Armagh v Tyrone match and our Jeep was stolen from the main road across from entrance to Palace stables.”
The blue-coloured Jeep had the registration number AMZ 3612.
“Please share far and wide to try to locate,” added Geraldine.
