A large fire has broken out at premises in Armagh this afternoon (Sunday).
Fire, ambulance and police crews are currently dealing with the situation at what appears to be a fast food outlet at the junction with Umgola.
The Killylea Road remains open to traffic at the present, however, the Umgola Road has been closed.
One eyewitness has described plumes of smoke rising out the rear and roof of the property.
It appears the fire has caught hold of at least four businesses.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Due to a fire at the Killylea Road area of Armagh this afternoon, Sunday 21st July, motorists are advised to avoid the area.
“Colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service are in attendance and motorists should seek alternative routes.”
This is an ongoing situation and this article will be updated as and when more information becomes available.
