Fire service respond to telehandler blaze in Milford

Emergency services were called to a telehandler on fire in Milford on Friday afternoon.

A crew from Armagh fire station attended the scene of on the Dernalea Road, just off the main Monaghan Road, shortly after 12.30pm.

A spokesperson for the NI Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to a telehandler on fire in the Milford area at 12.39pm. On arrival, they used one jet to extinguish the fire.

“The incident was dealt with by 1.33pm and the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental ignition.”

There are no further details on the incident, with no reports of any injuries.
