Early morning car fire in Armagh being treated as arson

There are no injuries, however there was damage to neighbouring property

A car set on fire in a residential area in Armagh is being treated as arson.

Police received a report of a car on fire in the Drumarg Park area of the city at approximately 1.30am this morning, Wednesday, June 10.

Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service who extinguished the blaze.

There are no injuries, however there was damage to neighbouring property.

Police are treating this report as arson, an investigation is ongoing.
