Beautiful outdoor Nativity created in Armagh as residents bring true meaning of Christmas

Community Association's Nativity to be blessed on Sunday

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in Armagh!

And at Mullacreevie there has been a lot of effort going into bringing to life the true sense of the season.

The Mullacreevie Community Association has worked and laboured on recreating a beautiful outdoor Nativity scene.

The humble stable where Christ was born has been lovingly crafted for all to enjoy.

The main driving forces behind the project have been local residents Anne Clarke and Caroline Rolston.

It has taken several months of organisation but the fruits of their labours prove it has been worth it.

One local resident said: “It’s an absolute credit to them and is free for anyone to come and see. I think it’s the first outside crib in Armagh.

“We are so very proud of what they have done.”

The Nativity is located in Mullacreevie Park beside the community house.

It is due to be blessed today (Sunday), at 4pm, by Monsignor Raymond Murray and all are welcome to come along.
