Armagh CBS pupils show Christmas magic is alive and well with spectacular performances

The pupils have been entertaining over two thousand parents, grandparents and family members throughout December with nine Christmas Performances.

It has been a magical time for the boys and girls in the Christian Brothers’ Primary School in Armagh.

The pupils have been entertaining over 2,000 parents, grandparents and family members throughout December with nine Christmas Performances.

The Rang a hAon pupils, accompanied by Rang a Ceathair, put on a fabulous ‘Scéal na Nollag’ as Gaelige (Christmas Story) to a packed hall.

Next up was the turn of Rang a Dó and a Trí who entertained visitors with Snow White, which had a few twists and special guests appearing!

The youngest pupils in the school, the Naíscoileanna (Nursery) boys and girls put on an amazing Christmas sing-along which was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.

The P1 and P2 pupils had the audience mesmerised with their own version of the Christmas Story. The P3 and P4 not to be outdone, entertained everyone with ‘The Three Little Pigs’.

The school tried something different this year with its Key Stage 2 /Eochairchéim a 2 pupils putting on two full drama shows running across two nights.

The cailíní and buachaillí in the school’s Bunscoil put on a magnificent version of ‘Annie’ which thrilled everyone in attendance over both shows.

The school’s English Medium pupils performed ‘Scrooge’ to two sold out shows which were thoroughly enjoyed by the large numbers in attendance.

Annie and Scrooge highlighted the talented pupils that the school has.

On top of the Christmas Shows, the school’s outstanding choir visited numerous nursing homes to entertain the residents and bring some Christmas cheer.
