Berlin based Armagh man Christopher McKinney has returned to native city to open an exhibition of recent work entitled “Times gone by”.
The exhibition is a vibrant collection of charcoal and pencil drawings and watercolour paintings featuring street scenes from Armagh, deer in Gosford Park and some beautiful Mourne Mountain landscapes.
Chris, a graduate of Chelsea College of Art and Design, is currently living and working in Berlin where he is preparing for a major exhibition there in the new year.
This follows on from his previous exhibitions throughout Ireland, London, Los Angeles and Vietnam.
Speaking about his “Times gone by” show, Chris said: “I was working on my upcoming exhibition when the opportunity came up of bringing “Time gone by” back to Armagh. I am absolutely delighted to bring the work to Armagh and the countryside, which provided so much inspiration.”
