
A man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder following an arson attack on a pub in Armagh on Monday night.
Detectives investigating a report of a petrol bomb being thrown into the Toby Jug pub on Irish Street have charged a 38-year-old man to court.
The man has also been charged with arson with intent to endanger life, possession of a blade or point, and three counts of criminal damage.
He is expected to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 20.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
