A new ‘adult gaming centre’ could be opening in the centre of Armagh City if plans are approved.
Proposals for the development have been submitted to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for consideration.
The application relates to a retail unit at Upper English Street – No 24 – which has previously operated as Baby Boo Boo and the Cheque Centre, as well as office accommodation in the past.
The property sits next door to the now defunct Armagh Observer newspaper offices.
The proposal is in the name of BDM Amusements, a company based in Lurgan.
Neighbours have been notified of the proposals.
They and the general public will have the chance to express their opinions when the plans are advertised this week.
There is no indication at this stage with the papers submitted to council as to what would be included within the development.
