Suckler outfits sold to £1400 for a Sim cow and 2 bull calves at foot from a Clady farmer. A Sim cow and bull calf sold at £1070.
In the beef ring cow/heifers sold to £196 for 590k at £1155 followed by £189 for 600k at £1135. Good quality cows sold to £166 for 610k at £1015. Main demand from £130 to £163 per 100 kilos. Fleshed cows from £134 for 650k at £870. Main demand from £110 to £119 per 100 kilos. Young friesians cows to £167 for 580k at £970.
Second quality friesians from £85 to £100 per 100 kilos and the poorest lots from £60 to £80 per 100 kilos.
