A pensioner was callously robbed in the car park of Daisy Hill hospital.
Police in Newry are appealing for information following the incident last Thursday..
Around 8.20pm on Thursday, April 16, a 68-year-old female was walking from the car park towards Daisy Hill Hospital when a male approached her from behind, grabbed her handbag and ran off.
The male is described as being in his later teens to early 20s, of slim build and was wearing a grey hoody which covered his face and head. He ran off towards the Carnagat area.
Constable Tom Nugent said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 1085 160415.”
