£180,000 drugs seized in operation involving Banbridge and Belfast searches

Drugs with an estimated street value of £180,000 have been seized after searches today (Wednesday), of addresses in Banbridge and Belfast.

The PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch recovered herbal cannabis in Belfast after an intelligence-led, inter-agency investigation.

Two addresses were searched – one in Parker Street in Belfast and the other at Cline Road, Banbridge.

No arrests were made.

Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop said: “We are continually working with other law enforcement colleagues around the globe in our efforts to bring those involved in drugs trafficking to justice.

“I would appeal again to anyone with information on any aspect of drugs trafficking to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
