17-year-old punched in the head in county Armagh assault

Police in Lurgan are appealing for information following an assault.

Shortly before 3pm on Tuesday, 26 May, a 17 year old male was walking along Pollock Drive when he was punched to the back of the head by an older man.

A passer by intervened and prevented any further assault.

The teenager came across the assailant a short time later and the man threatened him with a knife.

Constable Seaneen Hughes said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed these incidents or has information in relation to them. We can be contacted in Lurgan on 101, quoting ref: 650 260515.”
