We the family of the late Liam Davidson (RIP), wish to express our sincere and heart felt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to thank our families, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and extended community for their support and prayers. Also, thanks to those who sent messages of condolence, mass or sympathy cards and to those who attended the wake and funeral.
We would like to thank all those who worked tirelessly around the house on the days before and during the wake. A special thank you to those who brought food and to those who served refreshments.
We thank the emergency staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, the Paramedics, Chaplain and Liam’s Road Bowling Family who were there in his time of need.
To all the guards of honour we wish to say a special thank you for your support. We wish to express our gratitude to Fr. Malachy Murphy who celebrated the funeral mass and his kind words. Also, to Canon Toner for expressing his support to the entire family and offering his prayers for us. Thank you to Barry Loughran for his beautiful piping.
Thank you to Sionan and Odhran Murphy who provided the beautiful music in the Chapel. To Andrew who prepared Liam’s final resting place.
A special word of thanks to St Michael’s GFC for their endless support during the wake and funeral. Thank you to Graham Park and his staff who provided refreshments after the funeral mass.
Finally, a very special thank you to Aisling and Seamus Murray of Murray Funeral Directors, for all their support, guidance and dignified manner in which the conducted the wake and funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and gratitude, to all who supported our family in any way and who continue to support us. We will be forever grateful.
A Loving husband, father, son and brother. Each of us thought the world of you. For us you always did your best.
“God grant your soul eternal rest.
St Michael and St Carlos, Pray for him.”
Liam’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St Michael’s Church, Newtownhamilton on Friday October 10, 2025 at 7pm.
