Acknowledgment for the late Josephine McSherry (Markethill)

McSherry (née Livingstone), Teresa Josephine (Josie). The family of the late Josie McSherry wish to express our sincere thanks to the many friends, neighbours and extended family who gave us support during our recent bereavement.

To all who provided condolences, Mass/Sympathy cards, messages via text/social media, food, floral tributes, attended the house and/or funeral or helped in any way, we are eternally grateful.

Special thanks to her Carers from Enable Care Services and the Acute Care at Home Team for Older People, without whom we would not have been able to spend final precious time together at home.

Also the Nurses, Doctors and Receptionists at Markethill Health Centre for ongoing care.

We found comfort in her Requiem Mass and extend thanks to Fr Woods for his lovely words. To Martin, Maeve and Malachy of Martin Kelly Funeral Directors and Brian Nugent who prepared the grave, their professional and dignified handling of all arrangements was very much appreciated.

To Catherine and Dermot for the beautiful singing and music, Parochial Committee for use of hall and equipment and McEntees for hospitality afterwards.

Donations in lieu of flowers totalled £300 and was presented to NI Chest, Heart and Stroke Association on August 31.

As it would be impossible to name everyone individually, please accept this as an expression of our deepest gratitude to all.

The Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday September 11, at 11.30am in St James of Jerusalem in Mullaghbrack.

“Rest in Peace Mummy, you are always on our minds and forever in our hearts”.
